MISSING IN ACTION:
They might not be playing like it, but the Sydney Roosters are as close to full strength as any side can hope to be at this time of the season.
St George Illawarra five-eighth Jamie Soward hasn’t been named for the Dragons after he was a late scratching from last week’s win over Melbourne with back spasms. Matt Cooper is still a couple of weeks away with a hamstring injury, while Beau Scott will miss a week with a groin injury suffered last Friday.

 

FORM:The Roosters led 10-0 early against Gold Coast last Friday night before losing the plot to slump to their third straight loss and 14th spot on the NRL ladder. The Dragons breathed new life into their NRL finals hopes with an upset 26-18 victory over Melbourne at WIN Stadium last Friday. Having stormed to an 18-0 lead, the Dragons let in two tries just before half-time but held their nerve to bank a vital two points. The win lifted them to 11th spot on the ladder, equal on points with eighth-placed Gold Coast, Newcastle and West Tigers.
